READ OUR SUPPRESSOR COVER ORDER SIZING TIPS AND PLEASE REFER TO OUR SUPPRESSOR SIZE CHART.
Measure the LENGTH of your suppressor tube and ADD 0.5″ and if you would like to leave a QD mechanism exposed, keep in mind that the cover must be completely secured in place and can’t be pulled off (we will not replace a damaged cover if it gets shot off). Order the correct diameter for your suppressor or it may rotate or fly off.
- When properly installed, the cover should not rotate easily or slide forward. If it does, make sure the FR Sleeving is shorter than the suppressor; 0.25” gap (exposed section) at each end. For installation video please watch: Suppressor Cover Install Tutorial
- If you have any sizing doubts after consulting our size chart, please submit a cover size clarification email via our contact form.
Product Specifications and Use Restrictions
Suppressor Cover – Black, FDE, and Wheat Tan – Kevlar fabric is heat rated to 1000 F sustained and 1500 F and max temp.
Suppressor Cover – Gray or Multicam – Kevlar fabric is heat rated to 600 F sustained and 1000 F and max temp.
*Note* Be weary of any company claiming a higher rating than above as this is data gathered directly from the developer of Kevlar and Nomex fabrics, DuPont…
Safety recommendation: If the suppressor is too hot to touch with the cover on, you should allow it to cool off before handling or resuming your firing schedule. We have found this to be at roughly 90 rounds fired. Keep in mind, the suppressor and cover will take some time to reach its thermal peak after being fired full-auto or mag dumping. Typically, the suppressor will rise 7 F for every shot fired of 5.56.
For all rifle suppressors it is highly recommended to use the Suppressor Cover Heavy with the included FR Sleeving for both heat mitigation and proper fit. If you plan on shooting full-auto or getting the suppressor extremely hot, you can double or triple up FR Sleeving (fit will be affected as the system diameter will increase).
Custom Order Disclaimer: These are custom covers and are sold as is. There shall be no refunds or exchanges after your order is submitted. If you damage them due to excessive heat (discoloration included), improper installation due to user error or incorrect sizing; we will not replace or warranty them.

Looked over all the suppressor cover supplier companies and came to the conclusion that the Burn Proof Gear company product appeared to offer a high tech custom cover option. I placed the order for a cover for the Gemtech Viper 45 in a heavy version. I was looking for a vintage SIONICS style nomex cover as the can looks like the old 2 stage cans produced by RPB. I couldn’t have been happier with the result. The cover fit like a glove and really gives the M-10 Viper combo that retro sexy look. Highly recommend the BPG product. Rock N Roll!

After loving the sleeve cover I decided I had to see if BPG could make a suppresor cover for my DeadAir Wolverine. It is an odd shape but BPG did not blink an eye at the request. I recieved the custom heavy wrap and quickly put it in action. It fit perfectly, after a minor adjusted that was on me. The cover my be stiff at first so a couple of rounds and than i went back to make the adjustment and tighten everything up. It is like a perfect mold of the suppressor. I was looking to cut down heat reflaction in the scope and after 100 rounds at a pretty quick rate of fire…target was nearly perfect. The only wave was coming from the exposed barrel heat.
Amazing products!!!!

Had a custom rail wrap made for a AR-15 platform. I heat up this weapon on auto and the wrap completely cuts down the heat. I had to wear a glove after a few clips and now i can run many more through the batrel before i set it down for some will deserved cooldown.
These folks at BPG are top of the line in customer service and quality of ptoduct. With several of their products tested and proven on rails, suppressors, and a hank…i can say with convidence these products take the number one spot on my loadout.

Custom 5” worked perfectly for my turbo K with the YhM QD. The rear snugs up to the back edge of the QD where it threads into the body of the can. Couldn’t be better. They’re pricey but no one else makes a better cover, period.
