Product Specifications & Safety Guidelines
Our suppressor covers are built with performance and safety in mind, using heat-rated materials sourced from trusted U.S. suppliers. Below is a breakdown of temperature ratings and usage guidelines based on fabric color and intended application.
Temperature Ratings by Color
Black, FDE, Wheat Tan
- Made from Kevlar fabric
- Heat rated up to 1000°F
- ✅ Suitable for semi-auto and full-auto use
- Safety Tip: If it’s too hot to touch, let it cool off before handling.
Gray or Multicam
- Made from a lighter Kevlar blend
- Heat rated up to 600°F
- ⚠️ Best for precision shooting and low rates of fire only
- Not recommended for rapid fire or sustained mag dumps.
Internal FR Sleeving (All Covers)
- Operating temp of 1200°F
- Designed to shield and insulate your suppressor from direct heat transfer.
⚠️ Important Notes & Safety Tips
- Be cautious of any company claiming heat ratings above 1000°F - these numbers come directly from DuPont, the creators of Kevlar® and Nomex®.
- We recommend allowing your suppressor and cover to cool if it becomes too hot to handle, typically around 90 rounds fired in rapid succession.
- As a rule of thumb, a suppressor will increase in temp by ~7°F per round fired with 5.56 NATO.
- If you're planning high-volume fire (e.g., full-auto), you can double up the FR sleeving, just know this will increase the diameter and affect fitment.
️ Custom Order Disclaimer – Please Read Carefully
Because these covers are custom-made to order, we want to be clear up front:
- All custom orders are final sale - no refunds, returns, or exchanges after submission.
- Orders submitted with incorrect cover sizes or missing suppressor info will be put on hold until resolved.
- ❌ Do not enter the suppressor size instead of the cover size - this causes delays and processing issues.
- ❗ Please don’t order a standard cover if you need a custom one - we’ll have to stop the process until the pricing is adjusted.
Lead times: Typically ships within 1 week, but delays may occur depending on volume. Thanks for your patience!
