Choosing the right suppressor cover isn’t about preference, it’s about how you run your rifle. Here’s how to get it right.
MEDIUM SUPPRESSOR COVER:
Best for:

Pistols/ semi-auto use

Precision shooting
-
Lower rates of fire
Typical setups:

9mm Handguns

~1.38” diameter suppressors
When to choose Medium:

Controlled shooting
-
Slower firing cadence
-
Lightweight, low-profile setups
If you’re not running multiple mags back-to-back, Medium is likely the right choice.

HEAVY SUPPRESSOR COVER:
Best for:

Rifles/ fill-auto use
-
PCCs and carbines
-
High round count/ sustained fire
Typical setups:

9mm subguns
-
.223/ .308 rifles
-
~1.5” diameter suppressors
When to choose Heavy:
-
Running multiple mags consecutively
-
Training envrionments
-
Hard-use rifles
If you’re pushing your setup, go Heavy.

Be cautious of brands claiming extreme heat ratings beyond 1000°F.
